From March 29 to 31, the Turning and Chipmaking Days took place in Schwenningen. We were also represented among the numerous exhibitors.

At a very well-attended trade fair overall, we were able to implement our goals of generating new contacts and maintaining existing contacts very well. Thus, there were numerous interested new contacts, whom we could convince of the advantages of our software. We also had promising discussions with existing users of our software, whom we were able to inform about future developments, among other things.

During the three days, we were represented with our own booth as well as with a special show. We organized the special show Industry 4.0 in cooperation with Messe VS and well-known partners. Through this cooperation, visitors to the trade fair were able to have three different, personalized give-aways produced "live". To illustrate Industry 4.0 and smart production, visitors could trigger a manufacturing process with a QR code. In doing so, they had the choice of whether their personalized giveaway should be a flashlight, a ballpoint pen or a bottle opener. The flashlight was manufactured on a STAR machine and stored in the tool cabinet of our partner GÜHRING. With the help of the QR code, customers could then pick their flashlight from the tool cabinet. The ballpoint pens with engraving were processed by the MAIER company from Wehingen. The bottle openers were manufactured on a machine from DREHERTEC. The in-house GEWATEC software ensured that the processes ran smoothly. In addition to the individually designed promotional gifts, our trade show visitors also had the opportunity to attend various presentations on the topic of Industry 4.0 and the digitalization of production.
